Primarily located along a north-south, oriented stretch of Essex County's Route 506 (aka Bloomfield Avenue), Bloomfield Center is is just minutes off Exit 148 of the Garden state Parkway and close to close to other Essex County towns East Orange, Glenridge, and Montclair. By Bus or Train
Given its strategic location, there are a number of excellent transit options making it easy to get to Bloomfield Center, including NJ Transit bus and rail service, Several bus lines provide access to and from key destinations including Newark Penn Station, Montclair State University, Prudential Center, and Newark International Airport. The Lackawanna Train Station (aka Bloomfield Station), a site listed as a National Registered Historic Place, sits along NJ Transit's Montclair-Boonton Line and conveniently connects riders to major towns and major cities, including Newark and New York City.
