About Bloomfield Center and the BCA

Bloomfield Center Alliance, Inc. ("BCA") is a non-profit community development organization that manages the downtown Business District for the benefit of the merchants, business owners and residents of Bloomfield. As a dedicated advocate for the downtown, the Bloomfield Center Alliance leverages its budget resources and relationships on behalf of its constituent members to bring about change that would not otherwise be possible.

Bloomfield Center Alliance's programs improve the image of Bloomfield Center, focusing on its commercial assets, visual appeal, safety and desirability as a cross-roads destination for business, for shopping, dining and fun.

The Bloomfield Center Alliance is engaged in a number of projects and programs on behalf of the Center community, designed to attract, retain and foster business in the downtown. BCA's strategies focus on promoting the downtown and giving people a reason to come back. As part of that strategy, The BCA organizes, sponsors and hosts a number of events throughout the year that showcase the Center and the community at large. Bloomfield Center Alliance's programs preserve, protect and enhance the downtown area and its historic and natural assets while raising the equity value of properties and businesses.
