BCA offers several outdoor events/activities this Summer!

July 1st - Downtown Bloomfield is the place to be this summer as the Bloomfield Center Alliance is putting on several events/activities that will bring the community together safely. Cruise Nights on Broad Street (6-9 PM) - Classic cars and cool tunes are on hand Wednesday nights through the end of July. Join the Bloomfield Cruisers and other car enthusiasts as they display their prized possessions on the first block of Broad Street in the heart of downtown. Listen to tunes "old school" tunes and enjoy this great outdoor event (social distancing and mask protocols will be observed). Scheduled dates are June 24th, July 1st, July 8th, July 15th, July 22nd, and July 29th. Dinner Under the Stars (starting July 3rd; 6 - 10 PM) - Bloomfield Center's ever-popular al fresco dining series, come down to Washington Street and sit "under the stars" to enjoy food from local restaurants and listen to live music from local artists. "Community tables" will be available to attendees (on a first come, first serve basis), who want to pick up food from any of the downtown nearby restaurants (social distancing and mask protocols will be observed). Schedule: Fridays: July 3rd - September 25th. Outdoor Acoustic Concert (Saturday, July 4th; 2-5 PM) - The BCA is partnering with Bloomfield College to put on a 4th of July concert taking place on the college's open and landscaped campus quad (near corner of Liberty Street and Austin Place). Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to listen to three hours of acoustic entertainment from Guitaro 5000, Mark Weiser, and Sami Eldebs. Outdoor tables and chairs will also be set up and available on a first come, first serve basis. Food from local eateries will also be available for purchase. The event is free but online registration is requested. It can be accessed here. Bloomfield Center (Virtual) Restaurant Week (July 13th - July 19th) - A total of 13 downtown restaurants have signed up to provide special meals and discounts encouraging the public to order from (or dine outside) at their establishment. Adjusting to the current pandemic, the week will have a special twist with virtual performances of local musicians and other groups posted and shared on the event website - BloomfieldCenterRestaurantWeek.com Visit the website for details and to sign up for special announcements.
