On Tuesday, August 30th over seventy people gathered for a fun evening of beer, food, and connections at one of the downtown Bloomfield's newest business - Varitage Brew Works. They came at the invitation of the Bloomfield Center Alliance (BCA) for its annual Bloomfield Center Meet & Greet networking event. Invited guests represented various downtown stakeholders including - business/property owners, BCA board members, town officials, and a number of the organization's partners and supporters. The goal of the evening was for these individuals to connect with each other socially, hopefully leading to opportunities for collaborations down the road, and resulting in a stronger community benefiting Bloomfield Center. and engage with each other, create opportunities for collaborations and partnerships that will ultimately benefit the downtown district.

The BCA is grateful for the support of several downtown businesses that helped make the evening a great success. They include Varitage Brew Works who kept the beer flowing, 7 Doors Down Ramen Company, Bloomfield Steak and Seafood House, Blue Steel Pizza Company, Six Points Pizza, and So Juicy Restaurant for providing an array of delicious food. The evening was partially sponsored by the downtown branch of Provident Bank.
