On Tuesday, September 20th milling and paving of the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Broad Street will commence, weather conditions permitting. Traffic on Bloomfield Avenue will be restricted to one lane in each direction. Delays should be expected due to this construction. Approaches from Glenwood Avenue and Washington Street may also be restricted and/or closed during certain periods during the construction. Parking along Bloomfield Avenue and Broad Street will also be restricted. It is recommended that unless you have specific business or reside in this area you plan alternate routes to your destination. This work is expected to last until the close of business day Friday, September 23rd. As indicated above, this work is contingent upon weather conditions and may therefore change. It is recommended that you periodically check the Bloomfield Township Website for updates. While we understand these delays are inconvenient, they are temporary while the improvement is permanent and will enhance the Bloomfield Center Business Area.
