Great buzz for Bloomfield Center's first food tour

07-08-2019

Did you hear about BCA's first food tour highlighting Downtown Bloomfield's emerging culinary scene? On Saturday, June 22nd, two dozen "foodies" and curious visitors signed up for a fun and engaging eating/walking tour of Bloomfield Center. Along with learning about exciting things happening in (and planned for) the downtown district, participants visited several restaurants to sample delicious food. The three-hour excursion started at the historic (and soon to be renovated) train station on Lackawanna Place and included stops at Aki Asian House, Anthony's, Bloomfield Steak and Seafood House, Bucco, Dev's Jamaican Cuisine, Essex Junction Craft Kitchen and Bar, and The Wooden Spoon Southern Kitchen and Saloon. For an idea of how the afternoon went, click here to see the video coverage from FIOS-1 News who came out to see what the "fuss" was all about that day. Wish you could have attended? Stay tuned for news on another food tour spotlighting some of our other great restaurants being planned later this year.
